A phase 3, randomized, double-blind, multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of (trade secret) compared with allopurinol in adult participants with tophaceaous gout.

Criteria:

  • Diagnosed gout for at least 1 year
  • Measurable gout on hands/wrists and/or feet/ankles on physical exam
  • Taking a stable dose of allopurinol (200-600 mg/day) for the last 3 months
